Windows 10 & 11 Retail Transferable / Binding
Below follows one of two processes to activate your copy of windows. If you have Windows installed, and simply want to activate, please follow process A. If you still need to create an installation drive, install and activate, follow process B.
A. Activate your copy of Windows.
Kindly note that these keys will not upgrade other versions of Windows and you are required to have the correct version installed and up-to-date. Please see process below to update or if you have Home Single Language installed, the process below will also assist with that. If still no joy, kindly send us a screenshot of the current installed version of Windows and we will assist further.
If you have Windows 10/11 Home installed you will need to upgrade to Windows 10/11 Pro first, before activating with the product key. The key cannot be used to trigger the upgrade. You can use the Windows 10/11 installation assistant to help with the upgrade.
You can also trigger the upgrade using the process below:
1. Head to Settings > Update & Security > Activation
2. Turn off your internet connection to go offline
3. Under “Upgrade your edition of Windows” in Settings, click “Change product key”
4. Enter the official Microsoft RTM code “VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T” and click Next (you can’t activate with this license, it will simply trigger a move to Pro)
5. Click Start to confirm. Once complete, your PC should reboot automatically
6. Reboot a second time manually to ensure the process has been completed
7. Turn on your internet connection again
8. Copy the official Windows 10/11 Pro product key from your email
9. Head back “Change product key” within Settings and paste the new code to activate the license
